Raw coconut cherry hearts

The combination of these ingredients make an explosion dessert without sugar at all!

When to eat it? I like to eat it as a dessert with a tea, but you might prefer as the sweet piece in your breakfast or as a snack.

I enjoyed as a dessert during lunch time. Here the full San Valentin lunch.

WHAT WILL YOU NEED?

I was inspired by this dessert and here go all the ingredients but I can say exactly the amount of each as I only took the picture and tried them 🙂

The amount for a heart, Ingredients:

The mix:

  • Dried coconut slices
  • tbsp coconut oil
  • cherries

Topping:

  • dark chocolate (the less sugar chocolate you can use is 80% cocoa) or directly cocoa (0% sugar)

HOW TO MAKE IT?

This is the way I usually mix these kind of ingredients and I can guess this recipe was made the same way.

Mix the coconut slices with the coconut oil and cover the 6 cherries that they will be felt in your mouth once you chew the pastry.

You can melt cook dark chocolate or cocoa in a ceramic bowl in the microwave or “cook” it in a pan heating it up slowly. Once the chocolate or coca is liquid enough, add it to the pastry and leave it for a few minutes to make it dry.

Do you prefer soft or compact pastries?

You can literally enjoy the pastry a few minutes later after being done and it will very soft – if you like that texture. Alternatively you can keep it in the bridge during the night and try it the next day. The pastry will be more consistent and compact.
