Sweet Light Choco Cream

If you have followed me for a while, you might have realized I always had a sweet tooth and it’s hard to control myself around chocolate and nuts, they can be so addictive…

But I am sure I am not alone, right? That is why I am constantly creating sweet recipes by bringing the sweetest and natural food to treat myself in a good way with the doses that I need. Oh gosh, did I say “doses”? Yes, because sugar can be as addictive as a drug!

I might say that since I tried some of the dairy-free milk alternatives from Alpro, my mind is not asking me for sweets so much. The dark chocolate flavour almond milk especially helps me because it has exactly the two flavors my mind would be asking me for, nuts and chocolate.

After drinking or eating some of my sweetest recipes, I feel in heaven and I highly recommend it for any sweet tooth. Just give it a try and you will feel the difference yourself.

WHAT WILL YOU NEED?

  • 5 dates
  • 5 tbsp porridge
  • 1 banana
  • 30 tbsp Alpro almond dark chocolate flavour
  • 5 tbsp Alpro vanilla Soya yogurt

HOW TO MAKE IT?

Add all the ingredients in a blender, press the button and… ready!

BUT if you want to follow some logical steps to do it even quicker, here we go:

If you are using a blender which will be portable afterwards, try to add the liquids first and the heaviest food at the end, leaving it on the top.

So, add the milk along with the yogurt. Once mixed, add the porridge and mix again.

You will now have a kind of dense cream, but to finish it, add the banana and dates in small chunks and trrrrrrrrr… ulalaaaa, light choco cream ready to add to your porridge as a creamy yogurt with berries.

You will avoid sugar cravings 🙂

It can be used as a substitute to peanut butter, even with a higher nutritional value than any nut butter because it doesn’t just have nuts, but a mix of nutrients and minerals.

We might abstain from nuts and honey for example, because nuts are incorporated in Alpro milk. And we have added natural sugar from dried fruit like figs and normal fruit, 1 banana.

SERVING:

It is up to you, I would satisfy myself with the whole recipe, but you can add 1 tbsp to your breakfast and keep a bit for tomorrow, if you can…!
