If you enjoy the taste of matcha as much as I do, why not try it as an ingredient rather than just a drink?
These rice and coco matcha bits, topped with creamy cheese and Ceremonial Matcha from heapwellsuperfoods can be enjoyed at any time during the day! Why? Because they are made with savory and nutritional food.
Looks easy to prepare, yeah? Lucky you! It is not so difficult 😉 JUST the way you add the matcha can make a difference. Here is the recipe:
WHAT WILL YOU NEED?
- 200g Rice
- 150g Goat’s cheese
- 3tbsp Coconut Oil
- Ceremonial Matcha
- 15 almonds (optional)
HOW TO MAKE IT?
For the Rice & Coconut base:
First, prepare cooked steamed rice:
- Bring water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Stir in white rice and salt.
- Reduce heat, and simmer, covered, until rice is tender and has absorbed all the water, between 15 to 20 minutes (check only toward the end of cooking time).
- Remove from heat, and let stand, covered, for 10 minutes.
Once the rice is done, mix it with 50g goat’s cheese and coconut oil to make the slices smooth.
For the 3 toppings:
- Create straight lines with cheese and add steamed rice, the same as you see on the pictures.
- For the Matcha side. Mix 5tsp Coconut Oil with 5tsp Ceremonial Matcha. Once mixed, add 1tbs of the mix to the rice and coco slices. And just less than half of 1tbsp for a light green color on top.
- In order to make a massive nutritional snack or part of your meal, feel free to add some almonds on each slice. I added 3 on each.
These Rice & Coco Matcha slices will make a difference for you!
What are you waiting for? Give them a try! 😉
