Have you ever noticed when your morning starts in a frenzy; snoozing your alarm, skipping breakfast, and rushing yourself out the door, the rest of your day seems to reflect that mood of chaos as well? Regardless if you are heading to work or it is your day off, create a morning routine is essential to go throughout the day.

Because whether you are aware or not, we all operate under habits all the time. So in order to create a healthy habit, we need to put some intentional effort into forming them until they are done automatically.

Here go a few morning routines to start your day right.

Set up 2 alarms early morning

The first alarm will help you to be aware your day starts and the second alarm will be indirectly sounding with a purpose – it is your last chance to start your day right!

The early you wake, the more time ahead you will have before sleeping and less pressure.

Do one thing at a time

Looks like doing so many things at a time, it will not let us concentrate in any of them and we will be stressed instead. For example, trying to have breakfast while typing on whatsApp is not always the best option.

Being aware of each moment will help you to enjoy the moment and remove the pressure of what is coming afterwards.

Hydrate yourself

Drinking water first thing in the morning immediately helps rehydrate the body, allowing you for a healthy flow of oxygen, to stay energised and consequently productivity increases, it fuel your brain because the human brain is made up of 73% water, so staying hydrated is especially essential for maintaining optimal brain activity.

Most people have their coffee first thing in the morning, although it is a good source of antioxidants, it is also dehydrating. A glass of water,  a glass of hot water with lemon or a tea could be a better option, at least first thing in the morning.

The essential carbohydrates and proteins that you consume on a daily basis are metabolised and transported by the water you consume throughout the day. Having a sufficient amount of water in your system will help fire up your metabolism and it can also help with your diet.

Wash your face

washing your face with a facial cleanser, Throughout the day and night, excess oils, dirt, and impurities can build up on the surface of your skin—and if you don’t wash these off, they can clog your pores, which can lead to breakouts.

You can use your moistured cream afterwards.

A nice breakfast

Prepare a nice breakfast or leaving it ready the day before and eat on the go might help.

If you are enjoying it at home, the best thing to do is prepare breakfast rather than cooking something which will take longer. Easy & dense ingredients are the best to start the day with energy and feel full for longer.

An example: half avocado, smoked salmon 2 eggs on a toast, plus a bit of cheese and seeds and nuts as topping. A piece of fruit or natural juice, and a tea, coffee or even water again, no hurt! 😀

Create something to do

When we have something to do later, we indirectly organise previous tasks to make sure they are done. Meeting with a friend, or having a business meeting, or just go for a walk, might help.
